SH Type Hydrokinetic Couplings are designed for use in the drive systems of machines that operate under difficult movement conditions, are exposed to large and sudden loads, and have a high inertia force level. When SH type hydrokinetic couplings are used, the drive start-up process is smoother, the operating time of electric motors running at high currents is reduced, sudden pulling and braking movements are absorbed, and all dynamic overloads are eliminated. The couplings can be used in machines operating in underground mining facilities classified under methane explosion categories “a”, ‘b’, or “c”, and coal dust explosion hazards levels A and B.
