GENERAL FEATURES

For mines requiring longwall systems, reinforced roof supports are indispensable. Since the early 1970s, 200,000 FAZOS and GLİNİK brand supports (now owned by the FAMUR Group) have been produced. This equipment is designed for use in all mirror excavation technologies used in the modern mining industry (not only in coal mining). It meets the detailed criteria of European and global standards and mining regulations, as well as the relevant safety requirements. Famur supports are custom-designed using the latest design tools (3D techniques and FEM) as requested by the customer. Each support design is tested for durability in accredited laboratories, as evidenced by a certificate.
